Piper Companies seeks a Java / Python Developer to support mission-critical applications for a government technology and defense organization. This role is onsite at Fort Meade, MD, using Java and Python with modern development practices in a secure environment.

The position is a long-term open-ended contract, full-time, onsite five days a week, and requires an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph. You will engage in API development, backend services, and agile deployment within

Formación

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Python development.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and Agile environments.
• Experience with source control tools such as Git.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications using Java and Python technologies.
• Design, implement, and support scalable backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
