Job summary

HII Mission Technologies’ Warfare Systems division seeks an experienced IT Project Manager to lead cross‑functional technology initiatives from kickoff through delivery. You will translate business goals into structured plans, drive execution, and ensure scope, schedule, and quality alignment in support of national security objectives.

Candidates need 6+ years in IT project management on Agile/Waterfall, TS/SCI clearance, and credentials such as PMP or SAFe.

Qualifications

6+ years of IT Project Management experience on both Agile and Waterfall projects.
Experience eliciting and documenting functional and technical requirements.
Active TS/SCI government security clearance required to start; CI poly may be required.
Must meet DoD 8140/CSWF for 802-Intermediate or be willing to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate technology projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
Develop project schedules and resource plans; maintain clear documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Facilitate project meetings, track progress, manage risks and issues, and communicate status to leadership.
Support solution design activities, assist with vendor coordination, and ensure successful testing, deployment, and transition of new capabilities into operations.
