Job summary

Themis Insight is hiring a Senior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support RMF processes and security operations for a critical program in the Ft. Meade, MD vicinity.

Candidates must hold a TS/SCI with a Polygraph and have extensive ISSO experience on complex environments. The Level 2 ISSO will assist in preparing SSPs, A&A packages, and related documentation, maintain IRM records, and coordinate security policies across systems.

Qualifications

• Ten years experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level I+ compliance required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four years of additional ISSO experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to senior ISSOs for implementing and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Assist with preparation and maintenance of documentation.
• Assist in the evaluation of security solutions to meet security requirements for processing classified information.
• Assist with the CM for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Maintain records on workstations, servers, routers, firewalls, and other devices to include upgrades.
• Develop and maintain documentation for C&A in accordance with ODNI and DoD policies.
• Provide CM for security-relevant information system software, hardware, and firmware.
