Bitwise is seeking a seasoned engineer in Maryland to design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications that turn complex data into actionable insights using AI.

You will own end-to-end feature delivery from concept to production, work with data sources and Kafka streaming, and collaborate with stakeholders to iterate on solutions. Expect a rigorous, mission-focused environment with strong compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 12+ years experience or BS +8 years in technical field.
• Strong Python proficiency.
• Experience using AI/ML tools to accelerate analysis.
• Experience with Kafka and streaming analytics.
• Relational databases knowledge.
• Production CNO capabilities and operations.
• Experience analyzing cyber security data like network traffic.
• Understanding of SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
• Familiarity with ClickHouse.
• Git and GitLab proficiency.
• Jira and Confluence knowledge.
• Exposure to dataflow, data science, or mission analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications serving both frontend and backend needs
• Develop ETL workflows to reconcile requested versus realized infrastructure
• Apply AI tools and techniques to accelerate analysis and prototype new solutions quickly
• Ensure scalable and reliable data ingestion and processing pipelines
• Collaborate with full-stack engineers on integration and visualization of results
