Vantor is hiring a GIS professional in the Washington, DC area to design and build geo-spatial solutions for infrastructure and natural resources. You must be a U.S.

citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly and be able to work in secure environments at Joint Base Anacostia, Arlington, VA, or Reston, VA. The role focuses on GIS analysis of datasets, database design, data capture, and map production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS or related field required.
• 4–7 years of experience in GIS or related field.
• Experience with GIS software and spatial data analysis.
• Active Top Secret clearance with CI Polygraph required.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze and develop geo-spatial solutions and product specifications for infrastructure, hydrographic and physiographic features for global geo-spatial images and vector products.
• Performs geographic information systems (GIS) analyses on natural resources data.
• Plans, designs, develops, documents and analyzes spatial and relational databases.
• Applies software to manage spatial and related tabular data.
• Builds databases by capturing map information with coordinate digitizer.
• Produces computer map products depicting contents of databases, Locates sources of GIS data.
