Job summary

Vantor Inc. seeks a seasoned GIS professional to design, build, and sustain secure geospatial capabilities for intelligence applications.

You will work in state-of-the-art environments across data-rich datasets, enabling mission-critical analysis from secure facilities in the DC metro area (Arlington or Reston, VA). The role requires an active TS/CI Polygraph clearance and 8–12 years of GIS experience, with expert knowledge of advanced GIS technologies, spatial modeling, and database design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with 8-12 years of experience.
• Expert in advanced GIS technologies and spatial modeling.
• Lead GIS projects and design complex geospatial solutions for intelligence applications.
• Active Top Secret clearance with CI Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze and develop geo-spatial solutions and product specifications for infrastructure, hydrographic and physiographic features for global geo-spatial images and vector products.
• Perform geographic information systems (GIS) analyses on natural resources data.
• Plan, design, develop, document and analyze spatial and relational databases.
• Apply software to manage spatial and related tabular data.
• Build databases by capturing map information with coordinate digitizer.
• Produce computer map products depicting contents of databases, locate sources of GIS data.
