Job summary

BigBear.ai is seeking Software Developers to join our team and help accelerate a federal mission client’s discovery and delivery of intelligence insights. Join a DevOps, cloud-enabled environment delivering scalable solutions.

You will design, test, and deploy applications, work with Java/Spring and Python, and collaborate across engineering to implement new features. Must hold TS/SCI clearance and reside in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
• Understanding of cloud architecture and AWS GovCloud/C2S.
• Experience with AWS Managed Services.
• High experience with backend languages Java/Spring and Python.
• Experience with datastores MongoDB, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, S3, Redshift, Redis, Elasticsearch.
• Familiar with REST/SOAP, NoSQL, LDAP, HTTP, RDBMS.
• Familiar with CI tools: Git/Gitlab, Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube, Ansible, Chef.
• Familiar with Linux/Unix server environments.
• Experience with Agile development methodology.
• Working knowledge with Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Employ software development techniques to solve analytical challenges for a national security client.
• Automate manual analytical processes with software development.
• Expand capabilities to UI, microservices, web services, cloud architecture, and databases.
• Deploy IT solutions, user applications, and databases.
• Collaborate with engineering to design and launch new features and document deployment plans.
