Job summary
Insight Global is seeking TS/SCI Field Service engineers to support a large defense mission. The role starts with six months of training in San Diego, CA, followed by at least two years at the Mayport, FL site providing hands-on deployment, operations and maintenance of mission-critical ground segment systems.
The ideal candidate will install, maintain, upgrade and troubleshoot ground station hardware and software, follow SOPs, and communicate effectively with military personnel and customers in
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
- Bachelors degree in engineering or related field with 2+ years of experience.
- Willing to relocate/travel CONUS/OCONUS for at least 2 years.
- DoD 8570 certification in Windows, Linux or Cisco.
- Experience with ground station systems and field integration.
- Experience administering Linux and Windows environments.
- Virtualization experience with VMware.
- Experience managing servers and Windows domain architecture.
- Ability to follow maintenance instructions and sign-off processes.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, operate, and maintain mission-critical ground segment systems.
- Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot ground station hardware and software.
- Provide hands-on technical support at the Mayport, FL site.
- Train and work with military personnel and other engineers.
- Follow SOPs and maintenance sign-off procedures.
- Interact with customers and field teams in a dynamic environment.
