Job summary

PAE Government Services Inc. is seeking experienced Fiber Optic and Conduit Installation Technicians to support structured cabling deployments in Alexandria, Virginia. This role involves installing fiber optic cables, bending conduit, and conducting fiber certification testing, all while adhering to safety standards.

The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance and offers hourly compensation of $95. Ideal candidates will have over 3 years of experience in fiber installation and related qualifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on fiber installation experience including fusion splicing.
• Experience in SCIF or ICD-705-compliant environments.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install fiber optic cables and conduit pathways.
• Conduct OTDR and fiber certification testing.
• Support WIDS sensor installations and equipment staging.
