Job summary

Unity Compass is seeking a mid-level Journeyman Engineer to contribute to testing and evaluation for cloud-based systems in a DevOps-driven environment. You’ll help ensure reliability, scalability, and performance across AWS, DevOps, and Java/Python environments.

You will analyze requirements, plan test events, and develop T&E documentation while collaborating with multiple test organizations to integrate programs and tailor testing capabilities to project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience as listed.
• Experience following established processes and self-guided work.
• Strong understanding of AWS, DevOps practices, and Java/Python.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system requirements and test strategies to develop tests.
• Plan and execute test events, collecting and interpreting results.
• Develop T&E documentation such as Master Plans and Readiness Assessments.
• Collaborate with other test organizations to integrate programs.
• Provide specialized testing capabilities based on maturity, performance and risk.
• Maintain visibility on progress, blockers and results to stakeholders.
• Execute automated and manual tests to confirm system results.
