Job summary

I2X Technologies is seeking a Systems Administrator to support a DoD customer at Eglin AFB, FL. The role is on-site and requires TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities include configuring enterprise servers, monitoring performance, applying STIGs, and coordinating with IA offices; candidate should have 5–9 years experience, virtualization, VMware, Linux/Windows, and strong security practices.

Qualifications

• BS degree preferred.
• Willing to work a second shift (Mon–Thu 2:30 PM–1:00 AM).
• Strong virtualization, network, and server background (VMware, Linux, Windows Server, SQL).
• 5–9 years of relevant experience.
• Active IAT Level II and TS/SCI clearance required.
• Experience with DoD-level IT systems (JWICS).

Responsibilities

• Analyze, configure, and optimize enterprise servers, workstations, and Internet systems.
• Monitor and test systems and web applications for availability and performance.
• Perform network modeling, systems analysis, and capacity planning.
• May supervise Help Desk and network support staff.
• Administer network security per DoD policies and procedures.
• Maintain system images for rapid builds across squadron; keep images at appropriate classification level.
• Develop and manage automated license tracking and compliance solutions.
• Assist Help Desk during peaks in calls or staff shortages.
• Ensure software versions and service packs are up to date.
• Coordinate with external Information Assurance offices as required.
• Interface with customers to address IT issues and regulatory compliance.
• Lifecycle management of hardware/software incl. CSRD submissions.
