Job summary

ISPA Technology seeks a Network Administrator to support a DoD VDI environment for ~275 users in Honolulu, HI. The role emphasizes network operations, cybersecurity, and documentation, with TS/SCI clearance required for DoD work.

You will handle VLANs, VPNs, and firewall configurations while ensuring STIG compliance and robust incident response. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in DoD/government IT networks, strong troubleshooting skills, and a relevant iat level II certification.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of DoD/government IT network administration experience.
• Experience with switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs in enterprise networks.
• Experience with Cisco or Juniper networking platforms.
• Knowledge of STIG implementation, RMF, vulnerability management, and ACAS scanning.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification required (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent).
• CCNA/CCNP or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure and VPNs.
• Configure VLANs, ACLs, routing, QoS, and other network services.
• Perform routine maintenance, firmware updates, backups, and health checks.
• Monitor performance and resolve connectivity and performance issues.
• Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and IPAM records.
• Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support for network incidents.
