Job summary

Noblis, Inc. is seeking a seasoned DevSecOps Engineer in Reston, VA to embed security into the DevOps lifecycle and lead secure CI/CD pipelines. You will design automated controls, secure Kubernetes/EKS, and guide junior engineers while ensuring compliance with security policies.

The role requires active TS/SCI with Polygraph, strong cloud security expertise across AWS/Azure/GCP, and hands-on IaC like Terraform or CloudFormation. This is a mission-critical position for national security missions.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Degree and experience as stated (7y/11y/14y options).
• Proficient in Python and automation Bash scripts.
• Familiar with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes/EKS, and IaC (Terraform/Ansible).
• Security-focused cloud experience in AWS/Azure/GCP and guardrails.
• Ability to translate security needs into automated controls.
• Strong analytical and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with automated builds, tests, security scans, and deployments.
• Integrate automated testing, security scanning, and compliance validation in pipelines.
• Develop and manage IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation with guardrails.
• Apply security best practices for Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS, including image hardening and policy-as-code.
• Design and enforce AWS/Azure security guardrails, IAM least-privilege, and encryption standards.
• Operationalize vulnerability management across apps and infra; prioritize and remediate threats.
• Translate security requirements into automated controls and audit-ready evidence.
• Ensure all SDLC processes comply with security policies and regulations.
• Mentor junior engineers on secure coding and DevSecOps principles.
