Job summary

SOC LLC is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a Chantilly, Virginia-based opportunity working with SOC's client. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining end-to-end platform infrastructure in Kubernetes environments, with emphasis on automation and containerization.

Applicants must possess an active TS/SCI clearance. Responsibilities include full-stack ownership of core infrastructure services, platform automation, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver resilient platform

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance required.
Hands-on Kubernetes/OpenShift experience with containerized apps.
Proficient in Docker or Podman containerization.
Strong Linux/Windows OS and networking knowledge.
Experience with IdM/OIDC providers and authentication methods.
Scripting in Python, Go, or Bash.

Responsibilities

Full-stack ownership: deploy and maintain core infrastructure services (DNS, IdM, OpenShift/Kubernetes, OAuth, DHCP, S3, NFS).
Automate provisioning, deployment, and configuration of OS, platform components, and containers.
Troubleshoot complex infra issues across networking, systems, and container layers.
Collaborate with enterprise architects, developers, and project managers to deliver platform capabilities.
Drive modernization and adopt emerging Platform Engineering practices.
