Job summary

Tetrad Digital Integrity is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support a ground-floor Agile team in federal IT modernization, building automated CI/CD pipelines and secure infrastructure in DoD contexts. This is an onsite role in the Washington, DC area requiring TS/SCI clearance.

You will work with Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, ELK, and cloud environments, implement STIG-compliant configurations, and collaborate across DevOps, Security, and Cloud teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance; ability to pass additional suitability screenings.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline with 8–12 years of experience or Master’s with 6–10 years of experience.
• Experience developing software in an Agile environment and quickly learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated CI/CD build/deployment pipelines using Jenkins (CloudBees), Artifactory, Kubernetes (OpenShift), Docker, Ansible and Bitbucket.
• Assist with deployment, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades of Kafka and Elastic clusters and environments.
• Configure applications to integrate network data into an Elastic (ELK) stack hosted in AWS cloud.
• Configure applications to meet DoD STIGs and security standards.
• Develop and maintain centralized dashboards and observability solutions to monitor health, performance, and security.
