Job summary

CACI is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to join an Agile team supporting NGA geospatial intelligence applications. You'll help build and maintain modern CI/CD pipelines, enable secure software delivery, and gain hands-on experience with cloud, containers, and automation.

You will collaborate with developers, cybersecurity professionals, and sysadmins to improve development and operational workflows, contribute to security-first practices, and grow in a role that supports national security

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain poly.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering/Cybersecurity or related technical discipline.
• 0–3 years of experience in software development, sysadmin, DevOps, or related functions.
• Familiarity with Linux and command-line environments.
• Basic scripting or programming in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and software deployment.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support CI/CD pipeline development, maintenance, and optimization.
• Assist with DevOps tool administration and configuration.
• Automate infrastructure and deployment using scripting.
• Monitor performance and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with software teams to streamline workflows.
• Support Docker and Kubernetes containerized environments.
• Assist with IaC and environment provisioning.
• Apply security best practices across SDLC and DevSecOps.
• Troubleshoot build systems and deployment pipelines.
• Contribute to documentation and process improvements.
