Job summary

Shield Consulting Solutions, Inc. seeks a software engineer to join the Secure the Enterprise initiative, delivering automated evaluation and authorization processes, continuous monitoring, and data gathering across project lifecycles. A TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

The role focuses on analytics development using Pig and PySpark, data ingestion, and delivering reliable data to end users, with a strong emphasis on security and Agile teamwork.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience as a software engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• 4 additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop capabilities to automate the security evaluation and authorization process.
• Review data ingest tickets and merge requests with other developers on the team.
• Deliver reliable, accurate data and investigate data arriving accurately into the system.
