Job summary

Black Cape is seeking a Data Engineer (Knowledge Graph Specialist) based in Bethesda, MD, onsite 3–5 days a week in a SCIF. The role focuses on building graph-based data models, graph databases, and knowledge-graph solutions for DoW/IC missions.

The ideal candidate has a TS/SCI clearance with willingness for a CI poly, strong experience with graph theory, Neo4j/Amazon Neptune, Cypher/SQL/SPARQL, Python, and Linux. You will work with intelligence teams on secure, mission-critical projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 1.5+ years of professional experience.
Strong grasp of graph theory, data modeling, and structuring complex relationships.
Expertise with graph databases such as Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, Anzograph.
Familiarity with Cypher, SQL, and SPARQL.
Scripting in Python and shell scripting.
Linux environments including RedHat-based distributions.
Experience with software development teams and in classified environments.
Experience developing on MacOS, Windows, and Linux.

Responsibilities

Work with DoW and IC customers on cloud-native full-stack web apps and data analysis tools.
Develop and deploy AI/ML capabilities for mission applications.
Collaborate with engineers to build scalable knowledge-graph solutions.
Engage end users and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
