Job summary

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Mid-Level Data Engineer to support DoD data initiatives and OUSD(A&S) initiatives. You will develop robust data pipelines and analytics solutions in enterprise defense environments, with clear opportunities for growth and direct impact on national security missions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement STIGs, and leverage Databricks and Qlik BI tools to drive data-driven decision making. A TS/SCI-eligible level is expected in this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data engineering experience with ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience processing large-scale data with big data frameworks such as Apache Spark.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or Scala for data engineering tasks.
• Hands-on experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or MilCloud 2.0).
• Familiarity with STIGs and secure data practices.

Responsibilities

• Ingest, transform, and unify structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data to meet partner requirements.
• Build, automate, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for analytics delivery.
• Monitor data pipelines, optimize performance and costs, and ensure reliability.
