Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience designing data warehouse or data lake, RESTful API models, event processing, or BI for software systems.
• Experience building scalable ETL or ELT data pipelines and automating large-scale data workflows.
• Proficient in coding with Postgres, SQL, Python, Scala, Spark, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Apache NiFi, or Databricks.
• Ability to tune data lake architectures for storage and pipeline performance.
• Knowledge of data catalog, governance, and lifecycle management policies.
• Requires Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms from disparate sources.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of analysts, developers, and data consumers.
• Guide data engineering activities across mission-driven projects (fraud detection, research, national security).
• Advance data governance and lifecycle management practices across data systems.
