Job summary

LMI Consulting, LLC is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to deliver quality reporting and analysis within a Strategic Workforce Analytics program for a U.S. Federal Government Agency.

The role involves querying data, building metrics, and delivering reports in a classified environment, with on-site work at JBAB or Reston, VA. The candidate will collaborate with HR SMEs, data engineers, and developers to create visualizations and dashboards, and to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years of related experience in data analytics.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Experience developing dashboards using Tableau or other data visualization tools.
• Experience with Python or R.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with business customers and technical teams.
• Ability to travel and work on client sites.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage program SMEs and data stakeholders to understand business processes and data.
• Implement predefined research or analysis plans.
• Provide regular detailed reporting to management and customers.
• Collaborate with team internally and externally in a timely, proactive manner.
• Define and develop techniques to integrate, consolidate, and structure data.
• Understand and analyze complex datasets.
• Transform data into informative visualizations and dashboards using open-source and commercial tools.
• Develop briefing packages to communicate complex ideas to non-technical customers.
• Advise on interpretation and use of data analysis products and reports.
