Job summary

LMI is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to support a Strategic Workforce Analytics program for a U.S. Federal Government Agency.

The role emphasizes quality reporting, analytics, and visualizations in a classified environment, collaborating with HR SMEs, data engineers, and developers to structure data and develop metrics. On-site five days a week at JBAB or Reston, you will support multiple clients, produce briefing materials, and help translate data into actionable insights for stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, mathematics, computer science, economics, human resources, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of data analytics experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Experience creating dashboards with Tableau or similar tools.
• Proficiency in Python or R.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to travel and work on client sites.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
• Interest in gaining capabilities in workforce analytics and related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Engage SMEs and data stakeholders to understand processes and requirements.
• Implement predefined research or analysis plans.
• Provide regular detailed reporting to management and customers.
• Collaborate with team internally and externally in a timely manner.
• Define and develop techniques to integrate and structure data for analytics.
• Analyze complex datasets specific to the organization.
• Transform data into visualizations and dashboards using open-source and commercial tools.
• Develop briefing packages to communicate complex ideas to non-technical customers.
• Advise on interpretation and use of data analysis products and reports.
