Job summary

Leidos is seeking a TS/SCI cleared Cyber Security Engineer to support a long-term DIA-NDOC DOMEX Technology Platform contract in Bethesda, MD. The role partners with Systems and Software engineers to secure cloud-based architectures, containers, and CI/CD pipelines within an Agile framework.

The position emphasizes RMF/DoD compliance, cybersecurity packaging, and ongoing monitoring. Flexible scheduling and remote options may apply based on client needs and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain a polygraph.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with extensive cyber security experience (8–12 years with a bachelor’s, 6–10 with a master’s).
• DoD 8570 IAT and Level II+ certifications; Linux+; ability to obtain Privileged User Account per DoD 8570.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and provide feedback on cybersecurity artifacts (architecture, engineering).
• Assess BOE results to support DoD IC RMF cybersecurity authorization processes.
• Conduct periodic compliance scanning, vulnerability assessments for cloud systems.
• Implement and manage security controls for containerized applications and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps, infra, and software teams to ensure secure coding and engineering practices.
• Ensure security measures are integrated into CI/CD pipelines and engineering tools.
