Job summary

IAP World Services, an Intrepid Global Solutions company, is seeking a Cook to prepare meals in large quantities for defense-related operations at a secured facility in the Fairfax area.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and at least 3 years of related experience; ServSafe is preferred and TS/SCI clearance is required or preferred.

Responsibilities include cooking to order, reading orders, maintaining quality and safety standards, and serving at stations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of related work experience.
• ServSafe certification preferred; TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks to order foods requiring short and longer preparation time.
• Prepares food and serves customers at an a la carte station or may operate a grill station.
• Prepares food in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Reads food order or receives verbal instructions on food requested by customer and prepares and cooks food accordingly.
• Follows basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, and serving.
