Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Alternate COMSEC Custodian to join the Glendale, AZ team. The role manages the local COMSEC account, handles receipt, safeguarding, accounting, and destruction of COMSEC material, and maintains records for NSA reporting.

The incumbent will use KMI and perform firmware upgrades and field maintenance as required. Requirements include an active TS/SCI clearance with eligibility, five years of related experience, and the ability to travel 10–15% to support program needs.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance with adjudication within the last 5 years.
• Five (5) years of related COMSEC experience or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Experience installing and maintaining COMSEC equipment per NSA/CSS policies.
• Knowledge of NSA/CSS policy manuals and related CNSSI equipment.
• Experience working with Field Tamper Recovery (FTR) and firmware upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Administer and oversee the local facility COMSEC account.
• Receipt, safeguarding, accounting, and destruction of COMSEC material.
• Maintain up-to-date records and submit accounting reports to NSA when required.
• Perform installation, maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of COMSEC equipment.
• Travel 10-15% as needed.
