Bitwise is a leading provider of mission-focused intelligence solutions delivering national security results. You’ll join as a general-purpose software engineer embedded in operations, owning the full product lifecycle from design to maintenance.

Expect to work with analysts, operators and engineers to define requirements, deliver end-to-end toolsets, and support mission needs with quick reaction and feature-rich capabilities. TS//SCI with poly is required.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience with a B.S. in a technical discipline.
• 10 years of experience without a degree or 4 years with an M.S.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++/Python with network programming.
• Experience with Git and Subversion.
• Experience with Atlassian tools: Confluence, Jira, Bamboo.
• Clearance: TS//SCI with polygraph (required).
• Experience developing CNO-specific software in Linux/Windows/embedded.
• Vulnerability research and exploit development experience.
• Malware reverse engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Own full product lifecycle from design to maintenance for mission-critical tools.
• Collaborate with analysts, operators, and engineers to define requirements.
• Develop prototypes and end-to-end toolsets within mission constraints.
• Provide technical consulting across software products and technologies.
• Lead peer code reviews and coordinate integration across teams.
