Bitwise is seeking a skilled software engineer with a TS/SCI clearance to join our CNO-focused team in Fort Meade. You will reverse engineer and develop software for networked devices in a fast-paced, mission-centric environment, collaborating with analysts and data scientists to deliver impactful solutions.

Responsibilities include requirements derivation, toolset porting, rapid prototyping, and production-ready development, while supporting fielded systems and ensuring continuous operation in

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with a B.S. in a technical discipline, OR 8+ years of experience without a B.S., OR 4+ years of experience with an M.S. in a technical discipline
• Deep familiarity with Unix-based systems (BSD, Linux, UNIX)
• Reverse engineering Linux-based network devices using Ghidra and/or IDA Pro
• In-depth understanding of TCP/IP and network traffic analysis (Wireshark)
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Assembly
• Experience supporting fielded software systems in operational environments
• Familiarity with Git, Subversion, Jira, and Confluence

Responsibilities

• Deriving, documenting, and analyzing stakeholder requirements to ensure mission alignment
• Porting, modifying, and augmenting existing toolsets to meet evolving operational needs
• Providing rapid prototypes for early validation and user feedback, demonstrating a deep understanding of mission requirements
• Developing production-ready tools that operate seamlessly within mission constraints
• Supporting fielded software systems and ensuring continuous operational capability
