Job summary

Bowhead seeks a Cloud Systems/Network Engineer to support a customer at Quantico, VA. Responsibilities include IaC development with Terraform/Terragrunt for AWS and Azure, automation scripting, and hybrid identity and network engineering. Requires DoD IAM/IAT Level 2 or higher and cloud certifications. On-site role with DoD security posture.

Responsibilities cover cloud security, deployment automation, and cross-team collaboration to sustain mission-critical operations and DoD compliance.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 5+ years of practical experience in Cloud Systems / Network Management.
• DoD 8570 / 8140 IAM/IAT Level 2 or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modular IaC to provision AWS and Azure environments.
• Automate cloud workflows and manage configuration data in YAML/JSON.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability.
• Administer physical and virtual servers and provide advanced issue resolution.
• Configure and troubleshoot DCs in hybrid cloud/on-prem environments.
• Implement security groups, NACLs, and firewall rules across cloud boundaries.
• Collaborate with teams on system integration and documentation.
