Job summary

Insight Global in Dayton, Ohio is seeking a TS/SCI Cloud Engineer for a contract-to-hire opportunity. You will design, build, and maintain secure AWS cloud environments that meet DoD standards, deploy containerized applications in Kubernetes, and drive cloud modernization efforts.

You will also support DevSecOps through system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and CI/CD pipeline development. Daily onsite work is required five days per week; an active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree or 6 years of experience in lieu of
• 6+ years of experience
• AWS Cloud experience (VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, ECR)
• AWS Certification
• Kubernetes experience
• Experience with security hardening, STIGs, vulnerability remediation, CI/CD pipelines, and secure cloud deployments. IAT Level II certification (highly preferred)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure AWS cloud environments meeting DoD standards
• Deploy and manage containerized applications in Kubernetes
• Drive cloud modernization initiatives
• Support DevSecOps through system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and CI/CD pipeline development
• Collaborate with government customers and cross-functional teams within Agile environment
