You will lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, reliable software systems for space-based applications, collaborating with systems teams and stakeholders.

With 12+ years in software development, you will drive flight software on RTOS or embedded Linux, develop ground software, and mentor teams.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software development; embedded systems and ground software.
• Proven ability to architect scalable software for aerospace/defense.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded development; Python for testing.
• Experience with DIO and AIO.
• Ability to derive Flight Software architecture from electrical designs and ICDs.
• Experience with RF ground-to-space communications.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software architecture for flight and ground systems.
• Develop flight software for RTOS or embedded Linux with hardware drivers.
• Build ground software platforms for spacecraft operations.
• Create unit tests within CI; collaborate with hardware-in-the-loop test teams.
• Mentor engineers and align software with mission requirements.
• Support on-orbit operations and mission-critical tasks.
