Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead and support design, bid, and execution of mechanical systems within a facilities environment. You will oversee projects from concept to completion, coordinating with contractors and field technicians to ensure quality, schedules, and cost compliance.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in mechanical engineering, 10+ years of experience, and an active TS/SCI clearance. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit and ASHRAE/IBC codes is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in mechanical design, project execution, or facilities engineering.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required to start; polygraph as a condition of continued employment.

Responsibilities

• Design and review mechanical system designs (HVAC, piping, plumbing, and related infrastructure).
• Produce load calculations, equipment sizing, and layouts using AutoCAD/Revit and related software.
• Create scopes of work, technical specs, and bid packages; evaluate proposals and assist procurement.
