Job summary

North Point Technology is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer in Gaithersburg, MD to design, develop, and deliver cloud-native software for a GEOINT program. You will work across Python, Java, and JavaScript/TypeScript with RESTful APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS/Azure, supporting DevSecOps and RMF/STIG compliance.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance and a strong full software lifecycle background, plus collaboration with mission users and product managers in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI security clearance (or ability to obtain polygraph)
Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience designing and delivering cloud-native software
Strong frontend and backend development skills
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and RESTful APIs

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver modern software solutions
Build and maintain secure, containerized microservices
Develop RESTful APIs and web front-ends
Participate in Agile sprints, DevSecOps practices, and code reviews
Collaborate with mission users and product managers to refine requirements
