Job summary

North Point Technology is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer in Gaithersburg, MD to design, develop, and deliver cloud-native software for a GEOINT program. You will work across Python, Java, and JavaScript/TypeScript with RESTful APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS/Azure, supporting DevSecOps and RMF/STIG compliance.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance and a strong full software lifecycle background, plus collaboration with mission users and product managers in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

Software Engineer: Full Stack - Python, Java or JavaScript/TypeScript (TS/SCI Clearance Required) Gaithersburg, Maryland, United States Please apply only if you have an active TS/SCI clearance. *** North Point Technology is looking to hire a Full Stack Software Engineer to support a mission-critical GEOINT program for an Intelligence Community customer. The qualified candidate must have an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance and will design, develop, and deliver modern, cloud-native software solutions that enable national security missions. The ideal candidate has an excellent understanding of the full software development lifecycle and exceptional coding skills across front-end interfaces, backend services, and secure cloud integrations in support of the mission. Responsibilities: This position spans the full software development lifecycle, building and delivering innovative capabilities that support GEOINT data access, visualization, and dissemination. Duties include designing, developing, testing, and deploying software solutions; building and maintaining secure, containerized microservices and RESTful APIs with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, React, Node.js, and Spring Boot; participating in Agile sprints, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives; supporting DevSecOps pipelines while meeting security and accreditation standards; collaborating with mission users and product managers to refine requirements; performing code reviews and mentoring fellow developers; and resolving prioritized tasks alongside internal teams at North Point Technology. Required Skills/Experience:

• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript

• Modern front-end and back-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, Spring Boot, Django, or Flask)

• Linux and Windows operating systems
• Version control with Git
• CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI or Jenkins)

• Go programming

• Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, Security+, or SAFe Practitioner Qualifications:
