D2 Technical Services in Springfield, VA is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to design, build and maintain complex web applications. You’ll work in an agile team, handling front-end and back-end tasks, and you’ll implement integration and interoperability features using open standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of web development, a Bachelor's in CS or Engineering, strong Python backend, and experience with SQL/NoSQL.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of web development experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience with Python for backend development and familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Bonus if you have experience with Next.js, ReactJS, NodeJS, PostgreSQL, or alternatives like VueJS, Go, MySQL, or ElasticSearch.

Responsibilities

• Work within an agile process as part of a collaborative development team to rapidly build and iterate on software solutions.
• Design, code, and test both front-end and back-end solutions.
• Write integration code to connect and interface systems and services across platforms.
• Develop solutions that use open standards and ICDs to enhance interoperability.
• Rapidly prototype and mock up solutions to demonstrate look, feel, and functionality.
• Analyze user feedback and adjust systems to improve user experience.
• Prepare clear documentation of all developed solutions and communicate design approaches to the team.
