Job summary

CACI International seeks an Electrical Engineer - Embedded Systems to design and develop embedded electronics for unmanned and autonomous platforms. You’ll lead system architecture considerations, schematic design, PCB development, firmware integration, and hardware bring-up, collaborating with software, mechanical, autonomy, and systems teams.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, a bachelor’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering, hands-on hardware testing, and experience with flight control

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing embedded electronic systems from schematic to PCB bring-up.
• Proficient with microcontrollers, embedded processors, or SoCs.
• Experience with flight control hardware, avionics, or real-time systems.
• Knowledge of SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB, Ethernet or similar interfaces.
• C/C++ firmware development and debugging experience.
• Hands-on use of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded electronic systems for unmanned and autonomous platforms.
• Contribute to circuit design, embedded computing, flight control hardware, sensors and imaging systems.
• Prototype and mature integrated hardware capabilities across departments.
• Integrate sensors, communications devices, and peripherals into embedded platforms.
• Prototype hardware, perform bring-up, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Work with hardware and software teams to ensure system integrity.
