Job summary

BTS Software Solutions seeks an Electrical Engineer - Embedded Systems / Flight Control Hardware at Aberdeen Proving Ground. You will design and integrate embedded systems for unmanned and autonomous platforms, collaborating with software, mechanical, and autonomy engineers to mature hardware capabilities.

You will handle system architecture, schematic design, PCB development, firmware integration, and rigorous testing, ensuring seamless sensor and actuator integration across platforms.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in EE/CE or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing embedded electronic systems, including schematic design, PCB development, and hardware bring-up.
• Experience with microcontrollers/SoCs and embedded firmware in C/C++.
• Experience developing or integrating flight control hardware, avionics, robotics, or other real-time embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded electronic systems for unmanned, autonomous platforms and critical national security missions.
• Integrate flight controllers, processors, sensors, cameras, and communications hardware into complete platforms.
• Provide hands-on engineering support from system architecture to schematic design, PCB development, firmware integration, bring-up, and testing.
