Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation seeks a Configuration and Data Manager to support CDRLs, baselines, and assets/licenses for the C3I&N Directorate at Lackland AFB. The role is full-time and involves CM governance, data integrity, and audit readiness across software and hardware baselines.

You will manage CM plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate across engineering, program management, and QA teams in a DoD environment. A TS/SCI clearance is preferred or required upon eligibility.

Qualifications

• 12+ years experience in configuration and data management including at least 5 years in a DoD environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; additional years may substitute for degree.
• Experience managing configuration of software, engineering documents, design drawings, engineering changes and notices, and planning/conducting design audits.

Responsibilities

• Provide CM/DM support per the CM Plan and AF SEAM CM processes.
• Maintain CM files, change control, and status accounting.
• Convene and manage Configuration Control Boards and record changes.
• Review contractor CM programs and data deliveries for accuracy and compliance.
• Support audits such as Physical and Functional Configuration Audits.
• Track data item deliverables and CM reports; administer CM plans.
