Bitwise is building the next generation of AI infrastructure, and we need a Platform Software Engineer to help lay the foundation. This role focuses on the base cloud layer—AWS, Kubernetes, and security posture—upon which all AI capabilities run.

You will deploy and maintain reliable cloud infrastructure, build CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust systems for national security missions. A TS//SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Formación

• 3 years of relevant experience with a B.S. in a technical discipline or 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Proficiency with Python or another modern programming language
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud service providers
• Understanding of containerization concepts and tooling such as Docker
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt as requirements evolve
• Strong communication skills and a genuine willingness to ask questions
• Experience with AWS services such as EKS, Terraform, and IAM
• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm or Kustomize
• Experience with Argo CD and/or other CI/CD frameworks
• Experience with the Elastic Stack (Kibana), Grafana/Prometheus, or other observability tools and practices
• Experience with certificate management
• Experience supporting cloud-native architecture or maintaining production software and infrastructure
• Familiarity with LLMs and AI hosting concepts

Responsabilidades

• Deploying and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes that supports the organization's AI capabilities
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code for repeatable, reliable deployments
• Configuring and using observability tooling to monitor the health and performance of production services
• Supporting certificate management and following established security best practices for AI systems and data
• Collaborating with other teams across the organization to provision and configure the infrastructure their services depend on
• Diagnosing and helping resolve production infrastructure issues as they arise
