A client of Insight Global is seeking a Manager, Cyber Intelligence (ISSM) to lead cybersecurity operations supporting highly classified programs and mission-critical systems. This individual will serve as the Information System Security Manager (ISSM), responsible for translating complex security requirements into mission-focused and business-driven solutions while ensuring compliance with government regulations and security frameworks.
The ISSM will lead a team of Information System Security Officers (ISSOs), overseeing continuous monitoring activities, security control assessments, risk management efforts, and overall cybersecurity program execution. This individual will provide mentorship, task prioritization, and career development guidance to team members while fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
This role requires extensive interaction with program leadership, government customers, engineering teams, and IT stakeholders to communicate system security posture, support authorization activities, manage cybersecurity risks, and advocate for risk-based security decisions. The ISSM will also work closely with Information System Security Engineers (ISSEs) to support implementation and maintenance of security controls across classified environments.
Key responsibilities include managing cybersecurity projects and deliverables throughout the system lifecycle, overseeing continuous monitoring plans, coordinating assessment and authorization efforts, ensuring systems are monitored for anomalous activity, managing security incidents and spillage response processes, and driving process improvements that enhance overall security posture and operational effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, technical cybersecurity, and program management skills, with experience supporting classified systems under government cybersecurity frameworks and regulations.
