Job summary

Accrete is seeking an AI Engineer to bridge data science, AI, and workflow automation for government and enterprise clients. You will identify automation opportunities, build intelligent systems that analyze data, provide recommendations, and execute tasks with minimal human intervention.

Qualifications

• Active TS//SCI clearance with Counterintelligence or Lifestyle Polygraph.
• 5+ years of data science, ML, AI or related field.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Data Science, Statistics, Math, Engineering, or related.
• Strong experience with C++, Python, Java, SQL.
• Deep understanding of ML, statistics, and data science fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying ML/AI systems.
• Experience applying LLMs or modern AI techniques.
• Experience designing automated data or business workflows.
• Ability to work across the full lifecycle from data exploration to production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-driven automation solutions for complex government workflows.
• Identify manual, repetitive processes for AI/automation improvement.
• Develop systems combining data, ML, LLMs, and workflow automation.
• Build intelligent workflows for extraction, reasoning, outputs, and actions.
• Develop and evaluate LLM-based apps including retrieval-augmented generation and tools.
• Design human-in-the-loop/workflows compliant with regulations.
• Automate data ingestion, classification, enrichment, transformation, analysis.
• Prototype quickly and iterate based on user feedback and system performance.
