Job summary

TS Trucking is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Oiler-Greaser. You will perform daily lubrication, fueling, and inspection of Dump Trucks to keep them operating with minimal downtime, and assist with minor repairs as needed under the general manager.

This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work Mon-Fri night shift (1:00 PM–11:30 PM) with possible overtime. Benefits include full medical and retirement options, plus ESOP company ownership and opportunities for growth within

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a mechanic, technician, or lube tech in a shop or fleet maintenance environment.
• Working knowledge of safety standards within the trucking and maintenance industry.
• Ability to diagnose and perform basic mechanical and preventive repairs.
• Must be a self-starter with strong attention to detail and accountability.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine lube and maintenance services on dump trucks, including oil and filter changes.
• Conduct brake inspections; replace brake shoes, pads, wheel seals and related components as needed.
• Diagnose and make quick repairs on lights, hoses, and other basic systems.
• Maintain shop and work areas with proper cleanup and organization.
• Follow all company policies, DOT/MSHA safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.

Job Summary:

Physical Requirements:

• Climbing: Must have the physical capability to safely climb into and out of equipment that is greater than 10 feet off the ground on uneven terrain multiple times daily.


• Heights: Ability to climb and work safely at heights exceeding 10 feet.


• Balance: Including standing and walking on extremely slick and uneven surfaces while carrying.


• Vision: 20/40 corrected vision to see moving safety hazards, moving equipment, vehicles, and obstructions.


• Hearing: Corrected to hear verbal safety warnings and instructions. Exposure to loud noise, dust, vibrations, and heavy machinery in operation is frequent.


• Awkward positions: Getting to and from both sitting and kneeling on the ground.


• Heavy lifting: Awkward parts and equipment up to 50 lbs. from floor to shoulders, and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.


• Conditions: Work is performed in a environment with exposure to uneven ground, dust, dirt, and varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain.

Candidates should be prepared to work in occasional exposure to outdoor conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, dust, and mud.
