  • Complete sludge judge readings and perform detailed inspections for every service, noting condition, volume, and abnormalities.

  • Document all work accurately in the field via tablet-based routing and inspection systems.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service while explaining basic system issues, observations, or recommendations.
  • Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations – especially in confined spaces, slippery environments, and areas with potential hydrocarbon exposure.
  • Respond to emergency service requests and participate in the on‑call rotation as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid CDL Class A
  • Automatic drivers accepted – no transmission requirement
  • One year of commercial driving experience preferred (military equivalent acceptable).
  • Vacuum truck experience preferred (industrial or septic/grease).
  • Willingness and ability to work in messy, smelly, and physically challenging environments.
  • Able to lift 55+ lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Must pass DOT physical and be medically qualified to operate a commercial vehicle.
  • Registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse prior to hire.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Physically fit with high stamina, coordination, and core strength.
  • Comfortable working in wet pits, oily separators, and sediment‑heavy grit traps.
  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable troubleshooting minor equipment issues.
  • Detail‑oriented with the ability to document services accurately and follow compliance procedures.
  • Self‑motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.
  • A team player with excellent communication and a strong safety mindset.
Working Conditions
  • Long hours behind the wheel plus field work at customer sites.
  • Exposure to heat, cold, rain, and strong odors.
  • Regular work on slippery surfaces, near traffic, and in industrial zones.
  • Schedule flexibility including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and emergency on‑call shifts.
Why Join LES?
  • Competitive pay with overtime opportunities.
  • Industry‑specific training in OWS, grit, and grease trap systems.
  • A chance to advance your career in environmental services.
  • Work with a stable, growing company that values safety, reliability, and professionalism.
