Job summary

JST is seeking a Communications Security (COMSEC) Operator in Washington, DC to maintain cybersecurity services for sensitive data. You will perform maintenance on COMSEC equipment, manage security applications, and lead documentation efforts. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of COMSEC experience, with professional communication and Microsoft Suite skills. An active Top-Secret Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience within a COMSEC or similar role.
• Completed KMI Training.
• Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Occasional overtime and travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on COMSEC equipment.
• Support keying/re-keying of the KSV-21 cards and vIPer Secure Phones.
• Provide expertise and deployment of firmware upgrades to COMSEC devices.
• Lead efforts for development of documentation that is specific to the Technician function/role.
