Role and Responsibilities

• Maintain, modernize, and refactor web applications for scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Develop clean, efficient, and modular code using React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Refactor legacy code to improve readability, reduce technical debt, and enhance maintainability.
• Build dashboards, automated workflows, and visualizations for data-driven applications.
• Optimize SQL queries and database performance, ensuring security (SQL Server and Oracle).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and implement scalable solutions.
• Work within Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban).
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote continuous improvement.
• Support decision-making with reports, analytics, and insights.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in web application development, modernization, and refactoring.
• Proficiency in React, Node.js, JavaScript/HTML/CSS, and SQL (SQL Server and Oracle).
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of clean coding practices, modular design, and performance optimization.
• Ability to analyze, refactor, and improve legacy applications.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SQL Server or Oracle v19.
• Familiarity with ColdFusion, ColdBox, FW/1.
• Exposure to Python, Next.js, R, ASP.NET, or C#.
• Basic Linux (RHEL) administration knowledge.
• Experience with project collaboration tools like Confluence.
• Process optimization and workflow improvement skills.
• Knowledge of DevOps concepts (CI/CD, automation).
