Job summary

OSAAVA Services LLC seeks a Journeyman Network and Computer Systems Administrator for the 53rd Wing at Eglin AFB, FL. The role is hands-on, supporting DoD network and computer systems, with responsibilities spanning infrastructure, AD, DNS, and security policy adherence.

The candidate will work on-site, manage incidents, coordinate with cybersecurity, and ensure compliant, reliable IT operations in a mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required at time of application.
• 2–5 years of network and computer systems administration experience.
• Proficiency with Windows Server environments (AD/DNS/DHCP/GP).
• Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining Cisco or equivalent network hardware.
• CompTIA Security+ (IAT Level II) required.
• Experience in a DoD or USAF IT environment.
• On-site work at Eglin AFB, FL.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and network infrastructure components.
• Manage Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Monitor network performance and diagnose hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Support installation, configuration, and lifecycle management of workstations, servers, and peripherals.
• Maintain system documentation and change logs per DoD standards.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity personnel to ensure STIG compliance.
• Respond to and resolve IT trouble tickets; provide end-user support.
