Job summary

OSAAVA Services is seeking a Junior Network and Computer Systems Administrator to support the 53rd Wing at Eglin AFB, Florida. The successful candidate will assist in administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure and computer systems in a fast-paced DoD environment, ideal for an early-career IT professional ready to grow skills in a critical Air Force mission.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret clearance required at time of application.
• 1–3 years of network or computer systems administration experience.
• Foundational knowledge of Windows Server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy).
• Basic experience with network hardware configuration and troubleshooting.
• CompTIA Security+ (IAT Level II) required or obtain within 60 days of hire.
• On-site work at Eglin AFB, FL.
• Strong communication and customer service skills in a DoD environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls, and network infrastructure.
• Support Windows Server administration (AD, DNS, DHCP, GP).
• Monitor performance and escalate issues promptly.
• Imaging and lifecycle management of workstations and peripherals.
• Maintain accurate system documentation per DoD standards.
• Assist cybersecurity to ensure STIG compliance and DoD security policies.
• Respond to IT trouble tickets and route complex issues to senior staff.
• Provide courteous, professional technical support to military and civilian end users.
