Job summary

Fusion Technology in Washington, DC is seeking a Security-cleared Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team supporting US government programs. An active TS clearance is required and a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field is expected.

You will evaluate compliance with Federal cybersecurity standards, perform vulnerability management, logging, MFA, and support audits, incident response, and forensics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field.
• 8+ years of cybersecurity-focused experience.
• Ability to analyze security logs, network traffic, and threat intelligence data.
• Experience evaluating systems for compliance with NIST guidelines and information security requirements.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management processes and remediation.
• Experience supporting cybersecurity audits, incident response, and forensics.
• Prior involvement with audits and data calls.

Responsibilities

• Assist in enforcing technical cybersecurity compliance of Agency systems.
• Analyze encryption, vulnerability management, MFA, and centralized logging.
• Work with Security Assessment Teams to identify noncompliant systems and vulnerabilities.
• Provide remediation methods and communicate with stakeholders.
• Respond to incidents and participate in After Action Reviews.
• Interpret federal requirements and ensure documentation.
• Monitor threat intelligence to identify emerging threats.
