Job summary

Chenega Security International seeks an experienced Master Planner Scheduler to lead IMS development and maintenance for complex DoD programs. You will integrate multiple project timelines, report to PMO leadership, and provide timely, decision-ready scheduling insights.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in PM or security management, PMP, and expert MS Project skills. A TS clearance and drug/background screening approval are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of Project Management or Security Management experience.
• PMP certification or equivalent program/project management experience.
• Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server and Microsoft Project Professional.
• Active TS clearance; able to pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for complex federal and DoD programs.
• Establish and maintain program schedules, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths across multiple projects and teams.
• Analyze schedule performance and identify impacts, constraints, risks, and recovery opportunities.
• Provide schedule status reports, dashboard metrics, and executive briefings to leadership and stakeholders.
• Support planning activities including resource forecasting, workload planning, schedule optimization, and milestone tracking.
• Collaborate with Program Managers, technical teams, subcontractors, and customers to report schedule data.
• Conduct schedule risk assessments and recommend corrective actions to meet objectives.
• Facilitate schedule reviews, planning sessions, and PMO meetings.
• Develop and maintain schedule management processes, standards, and best practices.
• Ensure alignment between contractual requirements and project schedules.
• Monitor and report schedule variances and earned value metrics when applicable.
• Provide insights to support strategic decision-making and portfolio management.
• Assist leadership in identifying resource conflicts and risks across projects.
• Maintain audit-ready schedule documentation.
