Ballard Spahr LLP is seeking a Trust and Estates Paralegal to support our Private Client Services team in Philadelphia. The role involves maintaining fiduciary accounting records, preparing accountings, and compiling probate papers while coordinating with clients and advisors.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate, with experience in Trusts and Estates and proficiency in fiduciary accounting software (OneSource/Zane, GEMs, ProSystem fx) and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred; experience in Trust and Estates.
• Experience with fiduciary accounting software (OneSource/Zane, GEMs, ProSystem fx) and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records for fiduciary accounting and tax preparation.
• Prepare fiduciary accountings and probate documents.
• Identify, gather, and arrange valuation of decedent assets to administer estates from probate through final settlement.
• Interact frequently with clients and their advisors.
