Job summary

Trustpoint.One, in partnership with an AmLaw 100 firm, seeks a Trust and Estate Administration Paralegal to join the Philadelphia office. The role offers a 3/2 hybrid schedule and involves supporting attorneys and clients in probate, tax compliance, accountings, and ongoing trust administration.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of trust and estate administration experience in a law firm or similar professional setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate required.
  • Advanced knowledge of probate, estate, and trust administration processes.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for personal representatives, beneficiaries, financial advisors, and accountants.
  • Manage estate administration matters from start to finish, including probate filings, collection and valuation of assets, payment of debts, preparation of fiduciary accountings, and final distributions.
  • Draft and file federal and state estate and inheritance tax returns, coordinate with accountants on fiduciary and income tax filings, and assist with tax audits when needed.
  • Work with the firm’s integrated family office team to deliver customized client service.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and oversee ongoing trust administration activities.

Trustpoint.One is pleased to partner with an AmLaw 100 firm in their search for an experienced Trust and Estate Administration Paralegal to join the firm’s well-regarded Private Client, Trusts and Estates practice group. This role is based in the Philadelphia office and offers a 3/2 hybrid work schedule.

The team has deep expertise in representing executors, trustees, and beneficiaries across the full spectrum of estate and trust administration, including probate, tax compliance, accountings, and ongoing management. They are seeking a motivated paralegal who can provide high-level support to attorneys and clients while handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities of the Trust and Estate Administration Paralegal:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for personal representatives, beneficiaries, financial advisors, and accountants.
  • Manage estate administration matters from start to finish, including probate filings, collection and valuation of assets, payment of debts, preparation of fiduciary accountings, and final distributions.
  • Draft and file federal and state estate and inheritance tax returns, coordinate with accountants on fiduciary and income tax filings, and assist with tax audits when needed.
  • Work with the firm’s integrated family office team to deliver customized client service.

  • Minimum of 5 years of trust and estate administration experience in a law firm or similar professional setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate required.
  • Advanced knowledge of probate, estate, and trust administration processes.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with accounting functions required.
  • Familiarity with OneSource and Trustdesk is preferred but not mandatory.
Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $80,000 – $115,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time. Infrequent lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds.
